Are you seeking an engaging homeschool Co-op with strong family values for your middle to high school aged students? At The Adventurers Co-op (TAC), we encourage our families to learn together through group activities that are hands on and mostly outdoors.
TAC is a secular Co-op for those that enjoy an engaging largely social learning experiences with minimal homework and maximum fun. We are located in central Maryland and will be meeting in parks across central Maryland. Younger kids are welcome, but most of the educational material will be geared towards the older children.
Every Tuesday we will meet at one of the county, state, or national parks. If some unfortunate weather arises, such as severe thunderstorms, we may switch to one of the indoor fieldtrips or to a members house for board games.
There is not any, that right, it's free. Some of the field trips have costs associated with them, but the COOP does not have any fees.
We are NOT a drop off Co-op, and you are expected to be there with your child/children or send another adult in your place.
We are not a school but rather a group of individuals meeting to socialize and offer our kids fun activities to make learning enjoyable, and as such we are not providing a standard curriculum, high school credit, or the basics (reading, writing, and arithmetic).
TAC is not for everyone. It would be nice to think we could serve everyone, but sadly we cannot.
Please fill out the form below if you are interested in attending or just have questions about TAC.

There aren't going to be any classes. We will discuss topics before and during hikes. We might have specific one day classes on special topics, but no set classes. Please don't rely on this COOP for your children's core education.
